Michelle Keegan is being eyed up by Hollywood directors.
The former Coronation Street star’s storming performance in the upcoming new series of BBC military drama Our Girl has made the big studios take notice.
Michelle, 29, who plays Corporal Georgie Lane, has come on to the radar of movie bosses visiting Cape Town, South Africa, where the show was filmed. Her stunt co-ordinator on the series, Paul Pieterse, said: “The Hollywood interest has all come out of her performance in Our Girl 2. She’s very good.
“Cape Town is a hub of new movies and people come here from the US to scour for new talent.
“Michelle has now shown her diversity in Our Girl 2. Can her looks and body match up to Hollywood’s women? Absolutely yes.”
Paul added: “We have 15 big foreign movies being made here over the past few months. “Stars like Sean Penn, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron have been here. Michelle’s going to make it big time, I am certain.” Michelle, from Stockport, Cheshire, is currently filming a mini-series called Tina And Bobby in which she plays the wife of World Cup football hero Bobby Moore.
