David Beckham’s son Romeo has been hailed as a tennis star of the future.
The 12-year-old youngster wowed coach John Johnson after going for lessons at a council court. And John said last night: “I’m not sure his parents realise just how good he is.” He said he planned to tell Becks, 39, and wife Victoria, 40, about his potential.
“Romeo could have a serious tennis future,” added John. “He has a lot of talent and very good hand-eye coordination. “I’m going to have a meeting with his mother about it to reinforce that because I’m not sure they realise how good he is. Romeo really loves tennis.
He is really into it and very talented. He has a natural swing and is very enthusiastic.” Romeo went to the £30-anhour sessions at a court in West London with brothers Brooklyn, 15, and Cruz, 10 .
But Wimbledon may have to wait because modelling scouts are also keen to get him on their books.
He impressed them modelling for a Burberry fashion shoot in 2012 and then starring in the luxury brand’s Christmas advert last year.
