Residents in flats overlooking the site of a car chase scene for the new James Bond film are charging fans around £750 per day to catch the action.
Filming on Sceptre, with Daniel Craig as 007, is set to bring Rome to a standstill.
But by selling tickets to use their homes for the fourday shoot next month, flat owners on Via Nomentana could make thousands.
Porter Giuliano Pintus said: “They have a fantastic view and will charge a lot.” Resident Daniela Marilungo, who works for a bank in London, said: “The shoot will create a major traffic jam but for us, it’s fun.”
The authorities are said to have been paid a six-figure sum and 800 security guards are being drafted in. Sceptre, the 24th Bond film, will be released in November.
